Marc Crawford deserves another NHL coaching gig - so why doesn't he get one?

Well, he sent Bertuzzi out on a hit against Moore, and laughed it up while the guy was nearly dead on the ice.

No, I'm not over it. That was barbaric and neither Bertuzzi or Crawford should even be allowed into an NHL arena.

I do think that the fall out from this incident, fair or not, is part of the reason no one is in a hurry to hire him for an NHL job.

Maybe, just MAYBE, he doesn't WANT to coach in the NHL anymore.

Or, he'd prefer to coach certain teams.

He's just waiting for the Anaheim position to open next season.

He's a terrible systems coach, and a hothead. He had success with essentially a run and gun style, something teams don't look for.

Not to mention he has an odd fascination with incompetent goaltenders and doesn't come off as particularly intelligent.
