Alex Tuch:

Mantha if I had to pick one today, but Tuch could surpass him. It all depends on if Mantha can put it all together.

Considering Tuch still has room to improve given most of those 52 points were scored in the first half of the season, and also that I'm biased, I'm going Tuch.

I'd say Mantha is better all around player, but so far Tuch has produced a better rate offensively, so if you're going by points per 60 exclusively, that's the primary argument when in favor for Tuch. He's also better than Mantha with successful zone exits per 60 minutes, and slightly better with zone entries p/60 as well.

Mantha's PDO, expected goals, shots per 60 (as well as shotcontrol/shotassists per 60) possession metrics (relative), and most importantly defensive impact all imply he's the better player, just "unluckier" with proven 5v5 production.
