Was scouring the internet trying to look for a game from roughly 92-93 between the Jets and Flyers (still can't find it) that finished with something like and 11-9 score...and stumbled up this. What a game this was. Can't help but miss Buff, Ladd, Sharp, etc. a little after watching this.

I remember that about ¾ of the 'hawk fans I know turned the game off after the 5th Cal-gary goal.

Needless to say when they saw the score later there was plenty of foul language involved.

I remember watching this entire game... but what I don't remember is why the hell I didn't turn it off and do literally anything else after how soft the goal was that made it 5-0.

Ditto. That was the exact moment for me as well.

Still remember after the 2013 Cup win, I immediately texted my brother (who I went to this Flames game with) and sarcastically lamented that we can't claim to have been at the most exciting Hawks comeback anymore.

IDK if i thought that exactly, but thats the day I really remember realizing "holy ****, this team is pretty special"

I thought a similar thing in 2012-2013 when the Hawks brutalized the Kings in the first game of the season in LA.
