Can't rule out a trade, but the article about Luongo said that Malgin's not playing tonight because he didn't arrive in time from Springfield for the morning practice.

I would say its been more an secure call up. When something is happening on trades that their is a Player to take his place.
Even after the trade, it takes one or two Days befor the Player join the Team.

Well I hope Thornton is the healthy scratch over Malgin for future games if we make no other roster moves.

Sad to see them waive McKegg...really wanted him in the lineup over Thornton for a long time now, adds much more to that 4th line imho. On the other hand, hoping some time in the AHL has been good for Malgin. Perhaps he can come back with some new confidence.
