Remember the last time when we got bashed for not willing to be bent over in a Little trade to Montreal?

No trade will happen between us two regarding him. He will likely re-sign next summer anyway.

I'd trade Henrique for any of the above. Definitely would add to get Galy or Patches.

If Montreal wanted Henrique then the guy I'd target from them is Nathan Beaulieu.

Just an FYI, but Henrique is the type of player that needs his linemates to drive the play for him. He's much better suited at LW for that, although he could play center with two wings that dictate the play. Some of his best lines since being in NJ were: Kovalchuk - Henrique - Parise; Henrique - Gomez - Bernier; Cammalleri - Henrique - Stempniak; Henrique - Blandisi - Bennett (briefly last season).

He has a knack for filling in at the right moments and is a very good finisher. On every one of those lines, his linemates were the ones that were the main catalysts offensively.

Is MacKinnon really perceived to be on the same level as Henrique and Little? That made me sad thinking so.

To your point, I think he'd be a disaster with Pacioretty.

Galchenyuk meanwhile hasn't ever put together a run for more than 30 games at a time. When faced with adversity he looked disinterested instead of engaged. His lazy efforts landed him on the 4th line by two coaches.

At this point Mackinnon is closer to a top 10 C than Galchenyuk is to being a top 30 C.

Everytime Chucky played on the top line he produced as an elite 1rst line center. Last year, 20 points in 22 games including 16 goals and, this season, 25 points in 25 games before his injury centering the top line. Trading him would be a disaster.

Again, he's never done it for longer than 30 games. Panik looked like a first liner for 30 games this year.
