MacArthur vs LaRose

Inferiority complex indeed. Nobody is saying that LaRose won the fight, just that he connected the best punch.

Of course, it was only the second best punch of the night :sarcasm:

Good for him that he managed to connect one punch....maybe he should get a reward for that

Eh, pretty much what you'd expect from two non-fighters. And LaRose got what he deserved. If he wants to throw punches, he's got to accept the consequences.

See how easy that was, Leaf fans? :sarcasm:

Here's my take for what it's worth, I'm a fan of neither team. LaRose landed a nice shot which shouldn't have happened anyways. The refs were slow to go in after the first pummelling by Mac. Mac basically had him at his mercy and just held a clenched fist without firing. LaRose gets up and wails a shot at Mac which pisses him off obviously and he rag dolls LaRose and holds back again. You can tell at the end he's not happy and he has words for LaRose for taking that shot. He basically had the fight won, didn't go for the kill, only to have LaRose get up to take a swing at him.

So... in conclusion. Mac won easily, the "best shot" so to speak was done by LaRose although I would consider it a borderline cheapshot and should not even count considering Mac allowed it to happen because he didn't want to rain down some hurt and injure LaRose when he looked like he was done.

Never seen a more embarrassing fight. MacArthur embarrassed LaRose. He actually quit punching LaRose and waited for the fight to be over then Larose tried throwing a haymaker at him, and Mac just manhandled him after that, and STILL stopped from throwing yet another punch.

LaRose should never, EVER fight.

 What in the **** are you talking about? I don't care if Mac pummeled LaRose or not. LaRose wanted to fight, so he got what was coming to him. All I'm doing is complementing the fact that LaRose landed a hell of a nice punch on Mac. I'd compliment LaRose if he landed the same punch on Ray Whitney or some other random small non-fighter, because it was a hell of a punch for a guy like LaRose

Good god, now I understand why everyone hates Toronto fans. I know there are a lot of good ones out there, but some of you just embarrass your fanbase.

He only landed that punch because Mac stopped fighting him and didn't throw a punch at him when he was down. When Larose grabbed any semblance of balance he threw a haymaker like a little *****. In other words, it was a sucker punch when the fight was over and Mac had won the fight.

Mac shouldn't have held back like that. Perfect opportunity to disfigure larose' face. Easy win.

Interesting to see someone in that game actually not take advantage of a player during a fight. Mac stopped punching as soon as LaRose went to his knees and waited for him to get up. Good on him.

That punch at :54 really didnt seem like much (unless it was just the angle making it seem like it was nothing) but it didnt even seem to faze mac at all (not saying it wasnt a nice punch or anything just syaing it didnt seem like much)

and the kid whos saying larose is 5'9 and should of got manhandled Mac is 5'11 wtfs the difference.. not like he had a huge size advantage over larose

take 10, give one....great fight strategy.

MacArthur landed two, count 'em, TWO punches in that fight. Both to the back of LaRose's head as he was falling the first time. I give him credit for holding off per the "code", but let's not be stereotypical Leafs fans here and turn 2 harmless punches into 10.

Yeah it doesn't look great from that angle. In the arena they showed it from directly overhead and it was quite impressive. You could hear an audible "oooh!" when it connected. I've never seen LaRose throw a punch like that before.

You're right though, MacArthur shook it off like a champ.
