over TRI. 12-1 . Curious how close that was to a record. Not that close. But curious both teams in on league record for this stat.
Those records likely never to be broken.

Except for the one game from 1967, all of those are from decade spanning 1980-90. Just more parity in the league overall now?

Mind you, you can get some pretty lopsided scores even with parity. The Winnipeg ICE were a really good team in 2019-20 but that still didn't stop them from losing 10-1 to Edmonton on February 25, 2020.

Incidentally, the Tigers won big again last night, beating Spokane 10-4. They are for real.

22 goals in 2 games. Crazy. And SPO had a 3 goal start ! Yes individual blowouts but 2 in a row is rare.

The dif from the wild west days:
Goalie gear the size of a small car.
4 coaches on the bench
The league is more professional now,
Tough to keep a secret, drills, systems , set plays - they ALL use the same stuff,

They did that without their 1C in Lindstrom. Just insane offensive output considering Red Deer caged them on Friday.
