It's amazing how terrible our defensive group is. There are some teams in the league where not a single of our d-men tonight would be in their top 6.

Being generous, there's maybe 3 NHL-level defensemen dressing tonight. Being realistic with how Marincin and Nikitin have played this year, closer to 1.5 - Klefbom, and Schultz (as long as he's in the offensive zone).

Horcoff and Hemsky confirmed for multi-point nights.

Id like to see some Horcoff Hemsky magic

Id also like to see some offense from our D tonight - maybe Marincin, Klefbom or Schultz can do an end to end.

I would think any of these six would have a tough time cracking the lineup of MOST teams. Klefbom would be a #7 trying to show enough to work himself into the lineup of a playoff team. The rest of them including our Norris trophy candidate and our high priced acquisition wouldn't get a sniff.
