VERY surprised there is no thread for him.... IMO he has been unreal since his call up to the Pens recently. Been playing on the top line with Sid and has excelled. 4 points in 7 games so far and 22 hits

3 points in last 3 games with a +3, 11 shots on goal and 12 hits while playing top line....

the kid is doing extremely well. Ive read all sorts of good things about him and a lot of people compare him to a young Chris Kunitz by the way he plays and hits a lot.

Pens have a gem here... such a steal signing him

His AHL season before his call up looks like it was just pretty good... he loo

He’s exactly the kind of winger Crosby loved to play with. Gets him the puck quickly, active on the cycle, not afraid to shoot (and can release quickly), goes to the hard areas and forechecks recklessly to force opposing players to move the puck around the boards. Watched the game last night of course (my two favourite teams) and he was very impressive in all three zones; he also seems completely willing to block shots and work his ass off in his own end.

In summary, I saw a f*** ton of Kunitz in him. Pens fans should be happy. Now, we just need Sprong (who also excelled beside Crosby) to claim the 1RW spot and allow the Pens to trade Sheary during training camp next year.

Has a good skill set, good release. Skating was his drawback, still is. It's improved since his time at Northeastern which is good to see, but he's still a work in progress in terms of foot speed and technique...

He’s not getting quality time so far with the Guins healthier. Playing well though. Hopefully will get more top 6 chances this year.

Staten Island guy. Maybe because he seemed to have his best games in NJ, hoping Devils might sign him as FA.
