Not only did he go unpunished, Shawinigan's coach Martin Bernard has been fined $ 5,000 for calling him a diver!

What are the chances that Ehlers gets a call from the Jets if Mooseheads gets eliminated tomorrow?

It says Chevy was at a Mooseheads game on April 1st. The article suggests he could play against the Avs, and I'd say they're right.

But who are we going to sit? Jiri Tlusty? Chris Thorburn?

Could be called up to practice, but I think that there's no chance he gets into the line-up unless the Jets are eliminated from playoff contention.

Too bad for Bernard. It seems like part of a successful strategy. Plan to hook, hack and trip Ehlers, who is the best player in the league, and then complain publicly that he's a diver to try to keep the refs from calling penalties, or at least to nullify penalties with "diving" penalties.

Yeah. This is exactly what the Flames are doing with Sam Bennett.

It occured to me watching some highlights today that Ehlers skill level and style reminds me an awful lot of Ziggy Palffy. Fair comparison?

That's with everyone booing him each time he touched the puck too.

I doubt Ehlers has been happier for a goal in his career. Really stuck it to the coach and fans in Shawinigan.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but quickly glancing at it, Ehlers has points on 15 of the Moosehead's 19 goals. He was in on 78.9% of Halifax's first round goals. Quite a first round for him.

Clutch performance.

Can someone remember a series that was so influenced by a single skater?

15 points on 19 team goals in a 7 game series against a favoured opponent, including the assist on a late tying goal and the OT winner in game 7.

Was nice to see Ehlers respond to adversity by playing even better, being able to step up in game 7 also shows some character

Also, I have no idea what they put in the water in Shawinigan, but grown men throwing stuff at the Halifax bench is just pathetic. Same go to celebrating penalties taken against Ehlers. Get some class

The guy is dominating. He is too good for the Q right now. Each time he is on the ice he totally control the play.

This kid is going to a dynamo in the NHL. Can't wait until him & Scheifele are attached at the hip.

Jim Midgley (assistant coach) caught a puck in the head from a fan at the end of the game. Got a couple stitches I believe.
