Filip Reisnecker, who has both German and Czech Republic nationalities, had a dominant season last year in Germany, playing in the elite junior league (DNL) for the U19 of EV Regensburg. Over a 2.0 PPG, he had the most points in the league, which is very impressive when playing against 19 year olds.
He is just 16 years old (17 in December) and was drafted by the Mississauga Steelheads in the 1st round of the 2018 CHL Import Draft. He will play there this season. Reisnecker is a Left Handed LW, who is both a playmaker and sniper. At 185cm tall he is already above average height and he can continue to grow. I am curious if he will stand out in the CHL. His strengths are his speed and skill to create plays and score.
Could he be the next Draisaitl?
