There is a 0.00% chance any team would trade a young player on par with Lundell for Miller. It would never happen.

This isn't even a shot at Miller, it's that teams do not trade cost controlled young players of that caliber for players with only 1.5 years of control left. The best case scenario for Miller is a 1st and a prospect who might become like Lundell.

Lundell wouldn't be available for just about any UFA age player. When a team has a complete total package player like Lundell on RFA contracts for the next 7 years, that's really hard to beat.

Like 95% of the time, yeah. When was the last time an insider caught wind of a major trade more than a few minutes in advance of it actually taking place?

Notice how both the ask and timeline is from Vancouver's side. Rutherford + Co. can ask for Lundell and want to get a trade done sooner or later, that doesn't mean anything if there isn't another team to play ball.
