I don't actually hate the Sharks but let's pound on them anyway.

They're hard to hate, but I will reserve judgment until we're holding onto an inconceivable one-goal lead late in tonight's game after we led by three at some point.

I don't know what happened to Mike Greenberg's voice over the last five years or so since I quit hearing him in the mornings, but whoever's in the Bet ESPN ad that runs 35 times/hour on ESPN+ sure doesn't sound like Greenberg.

Frustrating period. We dominated play and shots (12-3) and have nothing to show for it.

At least defensive performance is good, only 3 shots from the Sharks. But offensive performance could be better.

McCann man has always been a Centre...only with the Kraken was he converted because the guy can shoot the puck

The way we're playing reminds me of the probably-apocryphal Alexei Kovalev story. Reportedly, a scout was raving about Kovalev's play in a game and how on one play he "skated circles around six players on the defense".

And the listener was impressed and asked for more.

And the scout said "well, it was actually the same two defenders three times each", and he didn't score.
