There are no excuses in my comment. I am not absolving the FO or anyone of anything.

Injuries are an excuse. Even when the team was mostly healthy they weren’t a playoff team. At least in the standings.

They actually are not. An excuse is when you are trying to absolve a party from blame. I am not doing that. The season is on the FO, coach, and team no matter what happens.
