Somes of you see him since the rookie camp is started, if so what can you tell me?

He is an undrafted invite to the Flyers' camp. There hasn't been too much info provided but he is expected to play tomorrow (Tuesday) against Washington in the Rookie Game.

• Born: January 7, 1994
• Birthplace: Longueuil, QC, CAN

Marcotte, a 20-year-old from Longueuil, Quebec, is playing in his fourth QMJHL season and first with the Foreurs after beginning his career with three season in PEI where he was a first round pick in 2010. He is currently tied for second in QMJHL Playoff scoring with 21 points in 12 games after finishing the regular season fifth overall with 100 points including 42 goals and 58 assists in 67 games played.

I can say that he isn't anything special. I've been at every day of rookie camp and he hasn't really stood out - good or bad. My thought is he was mainly the product of Anthony Mantha more than anything else. Granted he's only doing drills so it will be worth it to see how he does in the rookie game today against the Washington Capitals.

I will be posting my full rookie camp/rookie game thoughts in an article either tonight or tomorrow.
