Culver is fine, the rink is tore up though.
I last played at Culver and found it fine but the boards are awful and puck will bounce around like crazy.
I was flat out attacked by another player in a game at Culver. He slashed me 2 handed as hard as he could about 3 times then cross checked me about 3 times while I was down. He was kicked out of the league that night.
Once you live in the Area, where you live and how far you drive is not that big of a deal. It is a car culture and driving 5 more minutes is nothing. At night, the freeways are pretty fast.
The freeway drive difference between Culver and TSC is about 5 minutes. You will pass Culver as you go to TSC. It is only another 5 - 8 minutes to go to Bay Harbor. Bay Harbor's new ice is nice.
Driving time makes no difference in Southern California.
