Actually, I don't think Bertuzzi will be able to get back into the US without being vaccinated, so this probably doesn't change anything, unless the Wings/NHL can work out some sort of exemption.

Thank the Broodwich we can now just talk about Bertuzzi without the baggage.

Perhaps I spoke too soon. There's still the issue of getting back into the US after the game. And if all the current rules stay in place for the US, we're still right back where we started.

That was a nice 10 minutes, though, wasn't it?

Unless he gets an exception from the US government, it would appear he's still not going to be making Canadian games by the current protocols.



And since the primary issue is traveling back into the US, the odds he plays for a Canadian team are 0%.
He could have dual citizenship and be allowed to cross back.
