I was going over some info, and Crosby's recent 19 game streak got me thinking about scoring sctreaks. I know Gretzky's record is 51, Lemieux had 46. I know Lafleur had the record at 28 at one time, and I saw in some Gretzky info I have he had 39 and 30 as well. Does anyone know the top 10-15 scoring streaks in league history? Google didn't exactly turn up much other than Gretzky or Lemieux.

Kind of funny how in other threads about top scorers, Gretzky didn't get as much mention as stats like this scream out

I took 2 minutes and looked at the data that I had on Gretzky, and arbitrarily chose 10 games as a significant streak. Gretzky had 33 of them. He also had several that carried over 2 seasons, however I did not count those as I am unsure as to whether or not they can carry over from one season tot he next. A couple of the streaks did have a DNP in the middle, so 33 may be number to be quibbled with, but I think it speaks to the consistency you mention.
