I think this is how it starts, Clarkson should get a chance at the 2RW spot as I'm sure the staff believe he can rebound. Of course there's a good chance he's bounced down the line up after 5 - 10 games.

I actually wouldn't mind seeing Lupul go back with Kessel and Bozak, and see if JVR and Kadri can play well together.

Lupul is obviously capable of playing well in that line, so maybe if JVR's play in front of the net and down low could get the second line going better, we might come out ahead.

Bingo. That is what I want as well. Don't get why people seperate some players who look obviously like they will be playing together. JVR-Bozak-Kessel, Komarov/Kontiola, Lupul/Kadri, all look to be locks at least to start the season. On D we will be going with Left-Right on each pairing. We finally have the right amount on each side to do it so don't expect Polak-Franson on the bottom pairing.

Nonis has said Robidas was brought in to help one of the young kids. I think it's either Gardiner or Rielly, but with Gunnarsson out, someone has to jump to that first pairing.

Not sure how Robidas and Rielly would decide who slots in at LD or RD, but my guess is that the vet gets his normal slot, especially since Rielly can basically cover the whole ice anyways and never be out of position.

Not sure if Granberg is the Marlie making the jump or not. Holzer is an option too, as are Finn and Percy. That's something that training camp will decide.

Not sure I like having Polak and Franson paired since Polak spent most of his time on the RD but maybe he'll do well on his natural side.

Nope.

The only center who can play defense at a good level is Bozak. MAYBE Kontiola but he's proven nothing at NHL level.

The idea is to play defense by having the puck. The other team can't score if they don't have the puck.

Hopefully the team can be better at this next season.
