He was going to be an RFA after this season so I guess this takes him to UFA. Wish we could have gotten a 3rd year out of it but his agent would probably have to be insane to do that at this amount.

He's been been great and seems like a great signing for JBB.

Interesting note Hedman's deal expires at the same time as Perbix now. They take about 9m together. That will be an interesting offseason to see how that gets reallocated.

As good as he is I dont think he's going to develop into a 6m D or anything. I think he's pretty close to fully developed now.
