Dumont, 31, skated in 75 games with the Crunch last season. He was tied for first on the team in goals (30) and was second in total points (62). Dumont has played four seasons with the Crunch serving as the captain during the 2021-22 and 2018-19 campaigns.

Not a fan. Take his points and factor in his plus/minus and he was a NEGATIVE 67 last year, as was Hudon. Was no where to be seen in the playoffs, unacceptable for vet, let alone the Captain. Was not as effective on faceoffs as in the past. Would have preferred he and Hudon be allowed to seek other teams so the organization could move on and explore other vet options but that is why I watch from the stands and not the bench.
