Lindholm and Klingberg are elite type players and Ekholm is making a name for himself now too, especially after these playoffs.

I take Larsson over any of the bolded without thinking twice.

Then you haven't seen much of Lindholm.

Better than Larsson both offensively AND defensively.

And to whoever said that OEL is a liability defensively.. Are you serious? He's as good defensively as he is offensively.

I won't argue with you that Lindholm is easily better than Larsson offensively

but there isn't a chance in hell that he is better than Larsson defensively

Is he definitely the better offense player, though? I'm pretty sure Lindholm gets power play time, and it's not like he's putting up 60 points a year.

From Sporting Charts.com, even strength scoring.

More statistics,

PP/60, 5 vs 5 according to Behindthenet.ca

2015-16,

Larsson .59, 154th among Defensemen
Lindholm .49, 183rd among Defensemen

Then, even more interesting, remember all those defensive zone starts Larsson got this year?

2014-15

Larsson 1.15, 23rd among Defensemen (!!)
Lindholm 1.14, 26th among Defensemen

So, strangely they both had off years offensively last year, but Larsson's scoring is slightly better. For Lindholm, maybe it's because the Ducks had so much trouble scoring at the start of the year?

The difference offensively is much more than it is defensively. Lindholm is very good all around.

Okay he probably is but he is not even close offensively.

while I agree Lindholm is better offensively, see below:

Lindholm is better offensively and Larsson is better defensively. But if I were to pick a defenseman to have on my team from here and going forward, I'd most likely pick Adam Larsson. It is a close call tho, but I'd still go Lars.
