More good news out of Nashville. Jordan Leopold has signed a new long-term contract and committed his future to Nashville. "It was very important for me to sign that deal. I like Nashville, the fans, the team and I want to win here." Leopold said.

In fact Leopold figures to be one of the top dmen in Nashville for years to come. He already logs big minutes and is very responsible. "Jordan is young and still learning the game. I'm sure he will be a big part of our future and I'm happy he wants to be part of this team for a long time." stated GM Tony Kapfenberger.

Remaining on the teams RFA List are forwards Jan Hrdina and Jason Chimera as well as defensemen Brad Lukowich, Mathieu Dandenault and goaltender Craig Anderson. It is believed that the team attempts to keep those players, though negotiations might be tough.
