First of all, it's "Leopardy", not "Leopard".

Furthermore, it's not very interesting. Just one more low-budget Russian team collecting the players nobody else needs. For the sake of the KHL level the number of Russian teams should get lower, not higher.

Why the heck don't they just move Spartak to Sochi? Solve two problems with one move

This

Spartak Sochi :yo:

or why not Sochi Spartans? They already got the same colours (the arena seats and Spartak Moscow), it really is a good idea imho

Edit: You could even make a **** move by using the exact same logo, since Sochi starts with the same letter

Karelia
Sochi Mighty Leopards of Adler
Olympia Sochi (see Montreal Expos)
Sochinskiye Sochni Sochi
Dynamo Sochi (KHL needs more of them)

But anyway, they better stick with leopards at least in their merchandise. There's even Don Cherry's blessing for that.

Sochi has to get their players from somewhere. Expect more players of Wärn's caliber to be signed by them.

Crap called, says he knows them.

I think we're witnessing the result of a too rapid expansion when the likes of Max Wärn get signed. The level/quality of teams are taking a huge drop when players that are 3rd/4th line players in their domestic leagues are suddenly good enough for KHL. That in turn will lower the quality of the the other leagues, meaning an inferior development environment, which in turn will lead to less potential players for KHL in the future.

I look at it as reorganization. Add one team in Sochi, while removing a Spartak.
