I don't think STL has cap space to take him, even fully retained. Is Detroit taking back a contract? Scandella?

Twilight zone.
People think this was robbery?
We’re reaching cringe territory with some of these reactions. It’s a plus deal cause we recouped the 2nd we paid for Leddy despite him being a depreciated asset and Sundkvist is a fine depth player, but it’s nothing to circlejerk about. The Yzerman fanboyism elsewhere on the internet is out of control.

Ah, Ah, Hah, Haaaaah! WHAT A STEAL! Oskar Sundqvist is ALMOST a swedish national team player! Someone you plug at 4th line RW after softies, Elias P, William Nylander and Jesper Bratt.

Wiserman has struck gold.

So basically Leddy and Witkowski for a bottom 6 forward and a 3rd pair defender PLUS a 2nd round pick. Thats a win in my book. Cant be worse then Leddy and AHL'er Witkowski

An aging, declining, free agent nets you a 2nd, and 2 nhl players, one who will be a fa.

what is the downside here?
