No one scheduled to do GDT... figured I'd throw one up.

Leafs (5-1-0) vs Wild (3-1-0)

Reimer starts, JVR questionable, everything else the same.

http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/icechips/

James van Riemsdyk is a "question mark" to play against the Wild on Tuesday. van Riemsdyk missed practice yesterday (maintenance) and was forced to leave Tuesday's morning skate with an unspecified injury. Trevor Smith was recalled from the Marlies this morning as a likely precaution. Frazer McLaren took van Riemsdyk's spot just filling in for practice

James Reimer makes his first start since the home opener on Tuesday. Reimer was pulled after yielding four goals on 21 shots against the Senators, replaced by Jonathan Bernier who would start the next three games. - TSN

Tuesday's Morning Skate Lines

Forwards:
(McLaren) - Bozak - Kessel
Broll - Kadri - Lupul
Raymond - Bolland - Leivo
Ashton - McClement - Orr
Clarkson, Smith

Defence:
Gunnarsson - Phaneuf
Ranger - Gardiner
Rielly - Franson

If Leafs lose again tonight, Cor is banned forever from doing a GDT.

Well if he could score with Joey Crabb he can score with Fraser Mclaren.

I forget what I was last year... I'm the only lose so far

You were 2-1-0. Not that bad.

Leafs Rocket has the worst record for GDT I Think. You'll never find him anywhere near the GDT signup thread. :naughty:

I don't love our chances without JVR in the lineup. He's a key on both sides of the puck. However if Reimer is on we could steal this. It would be hilarious if he got a shutout to see the board explode in goalie controversy lol.

Leafs are starting to resemble the Sens from last year who never seemed to have a healthy line-up.

Their Norris winning defender got sliced up by Cooke and was gone for most of the year.
Their #1 center still isn't 100%.
Their #1 winger played half a season.
Their #1 goalie missed 18 games.
They ended up 7th. in the conference and then won their 1st. round match-up.

Let's hope the injuries stop before it gets to that point.

Move up Raymond with Bozak and Kessel, put Ashton on the Bolland and Leivo line.

Smith on the fourth line.

Hopefully JVR can play though.

My fiance's parents brought these home for me from Prague. Funniest part is Kessel is the big one and Franson is the small one. lol

Also surprised me with a ticket for tonight so it'll be my first game of the year.

Wish I could get a glimpse of Bernier and that JVR was in but crossing my fingers for a solid game!

Our top six looks pretty bad with Clarkson AND JvR out.

Kessel, Kadri, Lupul have to step it up. Let's hope we at least get one goal from an unlikely player.

I'll be happy with a point. Minny is only giving up ~22 shots per game and that's not what you want to see.

Healty is traditionally a Leaf killer isn't he? Be interesting to see if his demise is overstated...

I hate the word Leaf killer.

We were terrible from 05-06 to 2011-12. Every talented player could be a Leaf killer during that span.

Ryan Miller used to own us but we just sucked, outshot the Sabres like 40-30 in those games but all were easy shots...now the tables have turned and he can't seem to win against us.

Obviously, the size of the figure represents the skill level of the player.

Here we go, here we go...

The Wild are in town, but they out of place,
This concrete jungle is meant for the urban race,
Put on your pads, tie up that lace,
Cuz the Bay street Bullies putting a hurt on that face!
The injury bug hitting harder than a rock,
JVR, Clarkson, Kuli and Fraser can't even walk.
But that dun matter, cuz we resilient,
Kadri, Lupul, Kessel looking brilliant.
With Optimus Reim set to return,
Torch in hand, putting that boat to burn.
And Rielly tearing it up, that rookie sensation,
Stand up loud and proud, we got this Leaf nation!

Was on the Wild board and they expect their backup Kuemper to get the start...they are not very pleased about this development....

Edit- nevermind Zeke was all over this...
