Franson made a mistake but it was not a great chance. That was on Bernier.

If the Leafs are serious about improving their defense, Franson needs to be traded or benched.

He's just too slow, sucks at cutting down angles, is clueless in his own zone and yet he still has the audacity to pinch and cause 2 on 1's the other way.

Trade Franson. Last season seem like an outlier at the moment.

Patience with Gardiner. He is younger, taking actual steps forward and can continue to grow if not forced into too hard minutes early.
