- David Clarkson returns to the lineup tonight as the Leafs head to Florida to take on the Panthers. He will take a spot on the third line with McClement and Mason Raymond.

- JVR flew to Florida today and will be in the lineup. He was questionable with the flu, and was unable to fly with the team yesterday.

- It appears Troy Bodie will sit in favor of Fraser McLaren tonight. The Leafs need all the fighters they can, as the Panthers are known as a fight club..... apparently.

- Jon Bernier and Tim Thomas start in goal tonight for the respective teams.

- Finally, Jared Smithson makes his long awaited return tonight for the Leafs, this is something fans have been calling for all season

- With these kind of coaching decisions, it's no surprise the Leafs are 9-1-1 in their last 11 games.

- The Panthers are 0-3 in their last 3 games, and 4-6-0 in their last 10.

You guys freak out way too much about the 4th line. Nothing wrong with rotating players in once and awhile. It needs to be done, especially right before the trade freeze.

Thats arguably the worst line in NHL hockey.

Orr i can handle. Smithson and McLaren should be waived

Let's hope a team wants a look at McLaren and that is why Carlyle is playing him. Or Bodie caught the flu :dunno:

Worst 4th Line in the League. I say they dont even get 3 minutes of ice time tonight. Just an all-around useless line.

What did Bodie do to Carlyle? The guy has been playing really good hockey.

No,

it'll be:

Raymond - McClemment - Clarkson
McLaren - Smithson - Orr

I just have to laugh. However, it's possible that, with the long Olympic break coming up, Carlyle will roll 3 lines for all 3 games this week, with the 4th seeing <5mins icetime per game.

Ashton and Holland may be back for Thursday's game. They drastically change the look of the lineup immediately.

Carlyle back to his old stupidity! Another game where the 4th line is nothing and does absolutely nothing! :shakehead

It's most likely one game. Ashton, Bodie, Holland all appear to be banged up to varying degrees. But yeah, 'stone age carlyle' rabble rabble rabble.

Man, I really like Troy Bodie. He's not a bad player. Really too bad he's not in there.
