Just proves how consistently BAD this Leafs core really is! You'd expect to see improvement year to year! But no, nicks, nada, none!!!

That's why the core has to be broken up! We've seen coaching changes, swapping out of support pieces, upgrade in goal, and nothing changes!

Another pattern has been a stronger (relatively speaking) or better first half then 2nd half of the season.

The real struggles seem to show up near the end and final 1/4 of the Leafs season.

Perhaps why Leafs made a coaching change despite a +5 games over .500 first half.

However the overall trending over the past 4 years shows very little forward progress in terms of results.
