When we move our feet we're a good team.

Tonight was a much better effort from the overall team intensity front.

Marleau's the Duck hunter

Played like he hated them tonight

Good game all around .. Solid D, good goaltending ... Hopefully that settles them down a bit. Another ROW

Remember when the Leafs couldn't score an empty netter last year?

Damn that was a bad goal on Gibson, can't let those 40 foot floaters in the middle of the net go in. Kills your sv% :sarcasm:

It’s funny because that doesn’t count as a EN goal and actually counts as a goal against Gibson.

That’s fun

Freddie has looked great the last 2 games. We still need to iron somethings out, but that was a big win, as that and the Sharks were the most winnable games on this trip. LA should be tough, but if we can leave this trip with 4 of 8 points its a positive, so hopefully we can either go to OT twice or beat one of LA or STL.

Freddie picking it up the last two games, no shock, he did the same thing last season.

Not scoring 5-6 goals a game, nice to see them win a low scoring game.

Bad second period, decent first and third period.

Don't know why Matthews doesn't set swap places with Nylander on the PP. Matthews should clearly be the one taking those shots. Nylander holding onto the puck too much tonight. Good win though!

Great game tonight. The line juggling worked well. Bozak had a great game, the Kadri-Komarov-Leivo line took a bit to get going, but man Leivo looks amazing on the PP.

Andersen was outstanding again for the second game in a row. October is over!

Only goal to get past him tonight legally came off his own d-man so he had 0 chance on that one.

I'll always point out when Leivo is good so I have to note that he wasn't very good tonight, by both the eye test and possession(33%). He made some nice plays for sure including that pass to Marleau on the PP but he needs to be better. That being said it's like his worst game in 2 years and should play again tomorrow night hopefully
