Great bottom 6 signing, guy is a fantastic defensive player, I like him better than Mcclement.

Assets: Can play any forward position and displays plenty of defensive acumen. Has excellent size for the NHL game, as well as plenty of determination.
Flaws: Doesn't always use his large frame (6-2, 210 pounds) to the best of his capability, especially offensively. Is prone to prolonged scoring droughts.
Career Potential: Versatile veteran forward

Had 30 points in 76 games last season.

Bottom 6 guy, great at defence, will give you 20-30 points. I'd say our PK was questionable before, now it's fixed.

easily would call us a playoff team now, We have ALOT more forward depth.

Ashton is probably going to be traded now. I'm looking at potentially 3 forwards gone before the season. Lupul could also be on the block, along with many LW pro prospects, Orr, McLaren, maybe one of Sparks or Gibson and Marshall.
