He's been a pretty pleasant surprise down on the Marlies. He can score and he may have been their best body checker up front.

He's a late bloomer obviously but his trajectory just keeps going up. I think they like that he could be a depth forward and a great veteran for the Marlies. I wouldn't be surprised if he had a lot of interest from Europe and other NHL teams. I wouldn't expect a regular NHLer but if he has another big year with the Marlies next season, he could have a similar path as Justin Holl.
