So which team will show up? The team that starts off great and fizzles as the game goes on, or the one that doesn't show up until we are down 2 goals?

The mysteries of life.

(sigh)

I'd rather have the team that starts slow - truthfully, at least this gives us time to try to get the win or at least a point. if one had to choose.

I think they'll wake up. This kind of reminds me of when the Leafs had that awful 4 game losing streak back at the beginning of January and looked absolutely putrid. The 4th game though, they played really well against Washington but a few bad bounces and gaffes lost them the game, despite giving a solid effort. Then they got lucky with a shootout win over New Jersey to stop the losing. With the next game in Boston, nobody gave them a chance in hell, yet they secured a 4-3 victory, and then have been on absolute tear ever since.

Last night's Columbus game was kind of the same thing. Leafs were the better team for 2/3 periods and were scored on because of a few bad breakdowns, but the overall effort was not so bad, and they showed life at the end to at least fight back until the very end.

I think they will carry that over tomorrow, or at least I hope so for my own sanity.

I expect a big game from Clarkson guys!

You expect too much! :naughty:

This Clarkson guy is a dud on a huge pay package.

Needs to be sent to shammy cars at a car wash because he's a big waste of time, space, and money, playing hockey!

I dont think Gardiner is a Leaf by this game.

Lupul for me. I don't think they'll give up on Gardiner yet.

Anyone who thinks Clarkson is going to be moved should start holding their breath.

You believe Lupul will get traded?

Clarkson (impossible. Too much money, too long contract)
Franson (some team may need him for more offense from the D)

edmonton for that guy they keep trying to ship off? Hemsky? Gagne?

London, On
Kulemin (because I don't think he'll be back)
Raymond (see above)
Bolland (way too much money/term)
Carlyle

Reimer and Franson in the off-season (depending on Franson's demands)

We're not winning anything this year and we can afford to let players walk for nothing.
Call up Leivo, Ashton, and D'Amigo to fill those spaces.
Probably see a better effort and more nastiness too

Who would you like to get rid of?

Isn't it obvious?
