I don't think that if they lose tonight it should be a record setting 11th loss in a row. I think certain records should be held separate. The Leafs have already set a franchise record for losses in a row since OT was introduced. The 1967 team lost 10 straight in REGULATION as they did not have OT back then. That record should remain separate. Same thing should be applied to win streaks.

The game we lost that broke the streak was in the shootout too.

However, Leafs franchise winless streak is at 15 games. This hockey team could end up breaking that record

A loss would set a new franchise record of 11 losses in a row.

We will see tonight by the effort and performance if this team wants that distinction of being attached to that historical mark.

They have gotten this far, I am sure they will dig deep and go for the record tonight.

This game actually has the potential to make both fanbases fall asleep. I think I'm gonna watch this one as background noise, praying for a decent game for Reimer.

New Jersey is gonna drop the ball on this one. Reimer will break the leafs off from this losing skid. Just leave Reimer in and keep Bernier on the bench. :yo:

I think pride will kick in and prevent a loss tonight.

Kessel has 3 goals in the last 21 games and he is going to be a factor tonight.

I think this team will eventually find motivation in the form of depriving this market of a nice draft pick. Whether that starts tonight I'm not sure.

Biggest game of the season!!!

Leafs really need to win in order to keep any hope of winning the conference.

I know your joking but even if they won all 30 of their games remaining, they'd still only have 108 points which wouldn't win the conference.

quick! sneak Clarkson over to the Devils dressing room!

Lou Lamoriello is old, doubt he'd even notice :sarcasm:

If the team doesn't do it for themselves, Bettman will! ;)
