Samsonov spends more time on his knees than a $30 hooker. I'd love to see the stats on how many goals go in over his shoulders while he is on his knees. Too many goalies play that way these days, but he is particularly bad.

Can someone explain why the Matthews line was still on the ice after scoring Goal 2 ?
Or why Lilly was on defensively after that goal?
Or why after going 1-11 on the PP there has been zero change to the PP1 line up?

Assuming that Matthews line had just got out.

We have one good defensive pair of D despite having 8 defensive D and Rielly.

They changed PP1 last game and scored... they kept that going.

Drafting one is the easiest way to get one, outside that, buying low and hoping they rebound/develop.

Getting goalies is hard.

He makes the same b/c they can afford to run a tandem goalie with Swayman set to be paid much more as he establishes himsekf as clear cut #1

Swayman is a top prospect that will be part of their core going forqard

Groomed and developed over 3-4 years

will be making 6M+ once his deal expires

Samsonov is a guy who got the boot from Washington for his inconsistencies and hes no different now

This is on Keefe, not just the team...need a competent coach who knows how to use home ice advantage.

Absolutely 1000% on Bozo the Keefe. It’s laughable how badly he gets outcoached every year in the playoffs.

Inexplicably DUMB decision to leave the Matthews line out on the ice after they had just scored to make it 2-2.

Same thing has happened all season and Bozo the Keefe isn’t smart enough to realize his constant mistakes.

Well like I said. You can’t win anything with samsonov. He is just brutal. How and why leafs have yet to figure out without a goalie no chance. We ditched Freddy for way less than samsonov.

Swayman single handed has been the series best player by far. Has won 2 games single handed.

Tavares and Marner are non entities in the playoffs. Players like Robertson are far more noticeable.

Really need Nylander back and playing how he can in the playoffs because right now Matthews is the only goal scorer we have.

Can someone explain what the issue is with Keefe? Seen 10 posts saying it is all his fault and not a single person has given a good reason why it is.
