Marner was awesome.

Kapanen's been good in all 3 games.

Still baffled at some of the decisions Babs is making (Hyman and Komarov out at the end of the game with goalie pulled, his insistence on playing Komarov on the PP).

Columbus is a good heavy team that outplayed us for the majority of the game.

Back to back with your backup goalie against a good team on the road? This was always going to be a tough one especially without Matthews and Zaitsev.

We had 41 shots on net, what do you mean the offense isn't coming? Their goalie made a lot of good saves.

Unreal game by the Marner line. Thought that was a pretty decent effort on the second half of a back to back in the middle of the worst month of the schedule. Watching Marner tonight was an absolute privilege, that's one of the best performances I've seen by a hockey player this year.

Well Marner turned a lost cause into an exciting finish. Good to see him bringing it again. JVR probably should have had a couple of goals. Nylander was good at center.
All in all Columbus is a heavy team and protected the puck well.

When Bozak is one of your best players, your in trouble.
Bozak gave Kessel minuses and now giving them to Marner(he really needs a better C)
I like players who dont cause their wingers defensive games to suffer, which is why Marner would be great with Kadri or Matthews.

Leafs really need to do something about the Kadri line.

Is Kadri injured maybe?

Maybe he's only playing because Matthews is out?

Perhaps they should play Leivo or some player who can generate offense on Kadri's line.

Need more from the "2nd." line.

Non back to back and its a closer game...

With Matthews in combined with the awakening of Marner and Nylander aided by the skates of Kappy..

We win this game 60-70 % of the time and thats with Brobrovsky

GO LEAFS!!

We didn't get the saves we needed. Felt like Columbus didn't generate much outside of a those counter rushes and the PP which led to goals.

Need to break up Kadri-Komarov ASAP, it's not working.
