I still remember asking my dad as a 7 year old, on a winter Saturday night in 1996,

"How come the Jets aren't playing tonight?"

"They are, but they just aren't on TV. We only get the Toronto game tonight."

"Why would they give us the Toronto game instead of the Winnipeg game?"




What would you tell your son? That was the beginning of my hatred that many in Leaf Nation call

If it's any consolation, when I went to a Jets @ Leafs game a couple years ago (the game that Scheif scored his first NHL goal), there was a pretty rocking Jets contingent within ACC. Go Jets Go was getting booed loudly.

So, tit for tat - happens here in Toronto too, but in reverse (though probably not to the same extent).

That's only fair since we have to put up with more than a few of their fans in the barn tomorrow. Please, if nothing else this season just kick the living snot out of the Leafs tomorrow.

No way...match speed + size vs speed + size. And let's see who plays a better 2 way game. I bet it would be KSW.

LĹF would then be a perfect match for the Kadri line. They would outwork, out defend, outplay and therefore outscore them.

And that would leave their third line to deal with big Buff.

I find his style of comedy/persona whiny.

That said, he is funny.
