Has same thoughts before coming here to read posts about this signing. For me it's a matter when, not if.Guy Boucher will be replacing Keefe sooner than later. Calling it now.
Hah Mike Van Ryan. I don't know why but the name of that guy (who only played 27 games for us) stuck so vividly in my mind over the years.
Heard a few fans actually bring up Boucher's name as someone who could replace Keefe so this seems like a pretty good signing.
I remember for awhile he was seen as the next great young coach.

Keefe was Dubas' guy. Boucher is Shanahan's guy. Gruden is Ryan Hardy's guy.I would lean more to Gruden as the Keefe replacement if it happens.
Using history as our teacher when Babcock was replaced we went to the Marlies for Keefe rather than Hakstol or MacFarland from the big team assistants.
