Despite the poor effort, I thought we could have easily gotten a positive result with any luck at all and a better showing by Samsonov.

On to the next one.

Obviously not our best game. Way too many mistakes and far too casual. That said, we were still very unlucky to not even get a point in that game. Not too often you see that many clean shots of the iron.

It's hard to preach accountability as a coaching staff when you continually ice a team that is not optimal. I don't know how many games have to be ruined before Sheldon finally realizes that Rielly-Brodie no longer works. This is bordering on Babcock level stubborn at this point.

I don't care if Lybushkin is out, it is not an excuse to ice a top pairing that has routinely proven itself to be a failure this season. We are not in the 2020-21 season anymore. Figure it out Sheldon

Need a better effort all around tonight.

- Bad puck luck (but they're professionals, deal with it).
- Jesus Brodie on that second Philly goal...wtf? Put Rielly in a horrible position but then, Rielly didn't handle it much better.
- Mediocre goaltending.

That's the best summary of this game you will find.

He was 11-7-1 with 2 shut outs and .907 percentage. Nothing great, but certainly not bad when comparing to many other starting goaltenders in the league.

Martin Jones is *not* the guy who should be playing in the playoffs.

The Leafs have poor goaltending, but make no mistake, he's the poorest of the bunch.

Be thrilled you got an 11-7-1 run out of him, but they *absolutley should not* let him see the net in the playoffs. He's a #3 on a team with lousy goaltending. He should not see the net and he should not be re-signed.

Reavo's right eye oh man.... This sucks!

He’s no longer a top pugilist, barely held on for dear life in this tilt, they’ll all be challenging him now, what goes around comes around……..

is MO and BRO the worst pairing in hockey today? is Keefe the worst coach for continuing to play them together? Is AM hurt again?
Possibly, neither can play the defensive side of the game……..

Brodie can't work with Rielly or on the right side at all, whatever chemistry he had with Liljegren has been lost, and McCabe works better with Benoit. Where exactly does that leave TJ?
Press box, for the remainder of his time in Toronto hopefully…….

I've been saying this for years, the team has no structure, three players get a pass Nylander, Marner and Matthews, everyone else you are under strict structure, you dont fart with out Keefe saying fart.

We got bad Sammy last night, even Keefe said he wasn't very good.

He's WAY to inconsistent.

He's either borderline Vezina caliber or barely AHL quality there is no middle ground
