I think they are a bit underrated actually, but that's a hard point to argue right now. But they have a lot of good forwards. Most of them are good two-way players, most of them can score some. They should be able to score by committee.

I'm a bit torn on JVR right now. I'm very curious about how he would look with Nylander as center. I think that could hide one of his flaws (he can't get the puck out of his zone), which would leave him as a highly effective player who gets lazy. That's a huge asset, and if that asset wants to sign a team-friendly contract, that'll be hard to say no to. It would have to be a great contract, and it would have to mean Bozak and Komarov out (which I'm fine with), and it would have to mean we have a way to get rid of Marleau in his third year, otherwise we'll lose Gardiner.
