Love it.. I assume it'll be between 4-4.5. He's been a great addition to the leafs and will be solid when leafs get a true shutdown Dmen to help round out top 4 in summer (hopefully)

RHD is the biggest need in the organization, so yeah.

Yes, he's great.

I've just never been a fan of going longer than 4-5 years to anyone who isn't one of your top few players, unless it finishes before he hits 30. Too many players fall off early.

Having Rielly at 5 million almost immediately mean Zaitsev's will in the 4-5 million range.

Thus deal will be for his 26-32 year old seasons....so all his prime years. Will be a good deal for the Leafs.
