My Asus laptop has the same specs as that $2600 model I don't even think I paid $1600 for it.

My Asus has a better processor (i7 2.4 GHz), more hard drive space (1 TB), more USB ports, bigger screen, higher resolution, way better video card, and a better OS (Windows 8) than that $2600 Macbook Pro and it cost me ~$1500.
