5th in D scoring in the WHL and 3rd in team scoring, but how is he playing?

Does he look any stronger? I know that is something he needs to improve on.

Thought this kid was a sleeper. I know Anthony Mauro had him pretty high up as well. He's already surpassed last season's goals and pts. Still needs to fill out but I think he's going to be one of those guys who we wonder how he went so late.

Bump. With 54 points in 62 games, he's dropped one spot to 6th in D scoring in the WHL, but is still 3rd in team scoring. Anyone watching him?

He had an awesome goal last night against Seattle. (2:00)

Can't say I'm surprised by his success this year. I rated him far higher than most people last year.

Can this guy play in the AHL next season? He will be 19 years old but he played like 5 regular season games and 2 playoff games as a 15 year old. If that counts as 1 season he would have played 4 seasons in junior.

I don't believe that counts as a full season. As a '97 birthday, he wouldn't be eligible for the AHL until the 2017-18 season. Mark Pysyk played 14 games as a 15 year old but had to play four full seasons in the WHL before going to the AHL. Jordan Weal had 7 combined games as a 15 year old and played four more seasons after that.

He had an impressive year and was impressive playing in the ahl. I really like signing him now. He will play in the dub again next year. Excited to see him continue his development.
