He is an offencive D. I have understood Jyp hoped Jason Lepine to somewhat replace Sami Vatanen, but Lepine could not do it. So Näkyvä somewhat took the role of leading offencive D.
He likes to shoot quite alot and the shot doesn't look bad at all. Has some creativity in the offence.
He has potential to play in the world championships some day. My guess is he is a career KHL dude, but of course he could try in the NA.

But lets hope JYP fans give more accurate comments.

I think his defense is a big problem. Maybe could be PP-specialist one day, but more likely will play in the KHL in future.

His agent kind of admits it, but doesn't reveal the team(s) interested, obviously.
