6 foot 4 / 202 lbs LD - Igor Mburanumwe, from Champly, Qc
November 18th 2003 - 2022 Draft Eligible

I presume he is a defensive defenseman.

3 pre season games so far : 1 goal, 4 penalty minutes.

A random prospect, i know. I just saw his name and thought..that is one difficult name to say...
I know zero about him, there's no prospect reports of him,
maybe i get lucky and this big dude becomes something lol, time will tell.

As of right now he isn't considered a top prospect. There may be 50 names or more ahead of him from the Q for the 2022 draft.

But who knows lol

You missed Steven Iannidinardo, Mason Mantzavrakos, Mathis Zakorzermy, Carmine-Anthony Pagliarulo and Loris Rafanomezantsoa for the names that are a mouthful.

Danny Akkouche is funny if you are a french speaker.

Really? That makes it even more weird. French names i understand, due to obvious reasons
but Russian??? Russia has never really been in Africa, not in the same way like colonists did.

Igor sounds pretty normal in French, sure it's not a French name but it's easy to say, easy to write and easy to remember so why not

Absolutely.

Would be interesting to learn the history thou,
how has it spread to that particular country.
- part of the world

I'm a history buff and very much into names history as well.

Igor is a slavic name, not Russian per se. Gotta correct that a bit. :)
- thou...originally...Norse...:) derives from Ingvar....

Yeah..i know...its a bit nerdy to be interested in this stuff lol
