I only saw him at the USHL all-star game but he impressed me. Tall and strong but with some room still, physical, defense-first mindset, smart with his coverage, good skater, some offensive upside.

He seems to have held his own at the tourney so far: nice +/- and some points.

Seeing that the Wild drafted him deep in the second round, I would like some opinions on him.

I like the fact he can develop in college, and add some beef to that 6'2" frame.

Brodin jr?

Garbage is the first word that comes to mind with this guy.

Brodin, he is not.

After deciding to forgo playing for Colorado College in the NCAA, Olofsson recently signed a pro contract with the Wild. He's currently playing for the Iowa Wild.
