Signed by the Devils off an ATO, 18 year old Colby Sissons has 2 goals and 8 points in 7 games for the Broncos, two points off the team lead in D scoring in 4 fewer games.

If you go by P/PG, he's actually 3rd in the entire WHL in scoring by defensemen.

How did he go undrafted? He's not even small, the dude's 6'2, 185 lbs.

22 pts in 17 games for Swift Current in his draft +2 season. 6'2, decent defensive ability. I see there are two forwards with 2.5 ppg which may be helping his numbers. Can anyone comment on Sissons? Maybe this guy turns into a stud? Any chance he can make the WJC?

Numbers are a bit inflated due to Steenbergen and Heponiemi but he's still very underrated. I've liked his play so far.

Only Clague has a better PPG for defensmen in the CHL among players on the radar for Canada. I think his results may have earned himself an invite. Its very possible he is the first cut however. Pretty good for a freebie.
