He's been getting walked almost every game. Really struggles with the man on man defending.

He's been getting walked almost every game. Really struggles with the man on man defending.

somewhat true but hes learning quick in one of the woest defensive teams. Hes trying too much at times but overall hes been great. Hes just rookie.

AHL would be a setback for him, that's not needed at all. He's doing good in every zone and he might be our best at creating breakout passes.

There has to be a better option than him for MTL, no?

Romanov is still a work in progress for sure. Defensively he isn't as stable as other options right now. In tight games like playoffs it is not ideal.

However, he has some very impressive tools. He will be good. He is still a rookie afterall.
