There's no way in hell we can tank hard enough to have a realistic shot at him, even with a draft lottery where technically every non-playoff team has a shot at #1.

I've got more confidence in this years team than I did in last years team at this point.

But the games are just PAINFUL to watch lately.

That and I've got all kinds of real life crap to deal with lately.

yeah this is about what i expected and the reason gdts are so quiet lately. and i sort of won a bet. after Tuch's televised USA game yesterday i bet we'd have fans already clamoring for a first line role. Exactly like the Coyle CHL playoff effect. Completely different situations of course. But that's the point--neither one is anything like playing in the NHL.
Already saw a few of the guys DT. Look pretty...um...sleepy. FWIW. it's early though.
i'm sure the Jets are just as christmas fatigued.

Even if he was being scratched (which I doubt he would be), he might still have been out there skating.

1) The mumps
2) The same bug Coyle, Granlund and the goalies had
3) An injury

honestly why would you go with "scratched" when someone is reported to be out of the morning skate? honest question. when have healthy scratches ever been scratched from practice?

i'd add another thing to Gaps though it's probably not as likely:
travel problems
