Had big hopes for Phillips at one point.

Nogier kinda fizzled out. We tried him for a few games in the NHL, wasn’t a fit. Seems like a change of scenery trade for career AHLers.

Nogier is strictly depth for Ontario. No chance he plays in LA. Markus Phillips is one of the worst defensemen I've seen, unfortunately. Not getting much there.

Nogier had a couple of surgeries over the past few summers. Slowed development in my eyes. Wasn’t entirely out of place on his call up for a rookie. Pure depth at this point. Good ole a Saskatoon boy with a bit of size. Takes Strand’s place in Ontario I would think

He dropped in the depth chart behind the core of new D-prospects in the Jets organization I thought he look decent in his call up to the Jets Hard to reassess past few seasons with him not playing for a year due to surgery Think change of scenery and new management might rejuvenate him. Young enough to still try to make it NHL even if it might be slim one
